My style is eclectic, because I love innovative designers as well as retro styles.

On stage, my looks usually vary depending on the venue and vibe of the show. For example, this year when I played Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in downtown Manhattan (425 Lafayette St, NYC), I had the pleasure of wearing Patricia Field ARTFASHION. Pat is a style icon and her passion and warmth is contagious. It translates into a look that expressed all sides of me and felt light and sexy onstage. I try to keep my looks sleek and strong when I sing, so the focus is on my connection with the music and my audience.

In my personal life, I am definitely playful with fashion. Right now I am loving Mara Hoffman, and her looks move easily between stage, studio and street. Her clothes are sustainably made and her dedication to feminist issues also draws me to her work. I also love vintage finds, not only ones passed down by family and all the great stores in the city, but I make sure to always check out a local vintage store when I am on the road.
