Featured 8.20-8.26.18| What do you think would happen if Zosia Mamet's Shoshanna Shapiro and SJP's Carrie Bradshaw got together and created a real life human in their combined likeness? I'll tell you what: You'd be standing in front of Caroline Vazzana, fashion editor, stylist, influencer, consultant and author of the just-released Making it in Manhattan: The Beginner's Guide to Surviving and Thriving in the World of Fashion(which, btw, she wrote on her iPhone while commuting to work every day). A native New Yorker (Staten Island, to be exact, which only ups her cool factor by about 200%), Caroline is the cooler version of both characters — she has the quirky, colorful personality of Shosh (minus Hello Kitty), and more edge than Carrie ever had, and might we add, a MUCH bigger closet. But comparisons aside, she's a force in the fashion world all on her own, having spent time in offices from Anna Sui to Teen Vogue and InStyle before creating her own websitewhich strives to marry high style with high humor, all while doling out her own unique brand of career advice, fashion news and style stories. And this from a woman who has never — NEVER! — colored her hair (how is that even a thing?) and comes from a long line of medical professionals, which makes her success in the fashion world that much more incredible. She's a modern day muse and we are overjoyed to share her with you.
Welcome to Caroline's week.
