When it comes to clothing, I believe there is an elegance in neutrals and simplicity. I love to shop so much, but when it comes down to the everyday, I would be happy wearing the same things on most days (with the exception of special occasions and fun nights out, of course). I am actually working towards a “uniform” of sorts, which I see in the winter as a black turtleneck, high-waisted jeans and black sneakers. During summer, a flowy linen dress in a couple of neutral colors. If I could have a closet of all linen, I would. Maybe someday when I retire and live in a warmer climate.

I am on a bit of a sneaker kick right now. Since I spend a lot of my day on my feet, so I am thrilled that sneakers are having a moment right now. My closet is slowly being taken over by sneakers, and I like everything from the more sporty Adidas Ultra Boost (I have two pairs), to my Golden Goose sneakers. I recently purchased a pair of Common Projects sneakers that are quickly becoming my everyday favorite.

Since the fashion industry is one of the biggest contributors to the earth’s pollution, I try to make choices that are conscientious whenever I can by supporting companies that are sustainably minded by using less waste or recycled materials. My favorite brands that fall under this category would be Mara Hoffman, Reformation and H&M.
