I would describe my style as effortless and urban. I’ve lived in New York for almost 14 years but I’m still a California girl at heart. I love a laid back vibe including ripped jeans, oversized sweaters, and cozy sweats. Over the years I’ve learned how to dress for for New York living. Since I’m constantly on the go and exposed to so many elements I like to wear low heels, like my Gianvito Rossi Margaux ankle boots, and I always carry a mini crossbody bag. I’m currently carrying a black quilted mini Chanel bag. It’s luxe but durable, which I love. If I had to wear the same thing for the rest of my life it would be my Madewell high rise skinny black jeans, oversized Acne pink sweater and my white and green Adidas slides.

My style says that I’m a boss, I work hard and wear practical yet chic pieces that keep me comfortable all day. My style reflects my loyalty and timeless style: once I love a piece, like my Balenciaga leather boots, Stella McCartney peacoat and Ralph Lauren cashmere sweater , I’ll wear them for years.

In the fall, I love a good ankle boot. My husband bought me my favorite pair of brown suede YSL ankle boots last year for my birthday and I love to style them with mini dresses and tights this time of year. I love colorful heels as well — I have a floral print Manolo Blahnik and yellow suede Céline or that are fun to wear to add a pop of color to my look. I’ve owned my Balenciaga moto boots for about 10 years — they’re lived in and cool yet comfortable. I also love brands like Sarah Flint and M Gemi for their quality and more affordable prices. M Gemi’s Stellato Sachetto pointed toe flat and Sarah Flint’s Emma heels both elevate any look. I love to wear them to the office.

My go-to accessories are purses and totes. I love to style my looks with a pop of color and texture. My favorite tote is my burgundy Céline luggage bag. It’s super chic and fits everything I need for the day. I was gifted a Chanel quilted bag years ago at a fitting — I walked in the show for a few years so that one is very special. I own a few mini crossbody bags from Wendy Nichol as well — I have a metallic rose gold leather one which I used on my wedding day, I love that I can still use it, even with jeans and a t-shirt.

If i had to choose the top 10 items in my closet that I grab all the time, they would be:

  1. Balenciaga denim jacket

  2. Madewell high rise black denim jeans

  3. Acne pink oversized turtleneck

  4. Rag and Bone denim shirt

  5. BLK Denim oversized blazer

  6. Isabel Marant floral mini dress

  7. Sophie Theallet black dress

  8. Equipment blouse

  9. Frame t-shirt

  10. Theory sweater dress

Since I rarely shop in store, I’m most often influenced by the women I follow on Instagram and street style images from fashion week to keep up with the trends and get ideas for styling my outfits. I’m loving the chic suits I’ve been seeing on various female entrepreneurs. Also, oversized plaid blazers.

My favorite outfit of all time is my wedding dress. I know, so cheesy, but the dress brings back great memories. It was custom designed and handmade by Sophie Theallet. We worked on it for months. It’s a very simple silk dress inspired by Carolyn Bessette’s wedding gown. Sophie ordered a special type of lace from France for all the detail. The back was my favorite, it was mostly open with a big bow. Someone spilled a glass of wine on my dress at the end of the night and I have grass stains all over the bottom, but it’s still so special and brings back memories of the best day of my life.
