My style mantra for Olympia is very simple and consists of three rules:

1. Don’t buy too much for any one stage or age — they grow SO fast!
2. Think outfits as opposed to separates
3. Keep it simple. At this age, the most important thing is that they are comfortable and can move and play, and crawl, fall down, roll around and get back up. So as lovely as it to play dress up, especially with a little girl, keep the precious pieces for special occasions and stock up on a few durable, comfortable and, of course, stylish basics! I am obsessed with Maisonette’s private label which we launched in June and put Olympia in the playful rompers and pretty cotton blouses. I also love Bebe Organic and Petite Lucette.

For myself, I mostly stick to a uniform (easy dresses from Rouje, HVN , La Ligne, Ganni) in summer, paired with an Ancient Greek Sandals or a Loeffler Randall slide and my Staud bucket bag. In winter, it’s a Rag & Bone jean and chunky knits from La Ligne and By Far boot .
